Trump also expressed his intention to retain Jerome Powell as the Federal Reserve chair.

Dimon’s Potential Role

Dimon’s Stance on Crypto

Dimon has been critical of cryptocurrency, stating in a 2023 congressional hearing that he sees it primarily used for illegal activities such as money laundering and tax evasion. Despite his negative stance, JP Morgan has launched its own blockchain token, JPM Coin.

Trump has also expressed skepticism towards Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the past, stating they are not “money” and are based on volatile value. However, he is scheduled to speak at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville from July 25 to 27, indicating a potential shift in his views.
